He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rodecap and Josephine Rodecap; his siblings, George E., Elmer, Roy and Mary Rodecap Martin; and his son Charles.

He is survived by: his children, Anita Jo Bayless (Jim), Michael Scott Rodecap (Pam) and Robin Rae Brower (Bob); and his sister Emily "PeeWee" Royer (Jerry). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
