With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald J. MacKe (Seneca, Kansas), who passed away on November 19, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Macke and Katie Macke (Enneking); and his siblings, Marie Bergman, Leona Lierz, Clara Beasley and Bud Macke (Leo).
He is survived by: his wife Alice A. Macke (Mulroy); his children, Brenda Wessel (Randy) of Elkhorn, NE, Dan Macke (Sherry) of Topeka, KS, Bob Macke (Brenda) of Baileyville, KS and Kris Porting (Jeff) of Axtell, KS; his grandchildren, Kacie Hinze, Ryan Wessel, Zach, Tyler Macke, Brandon, Jamison Macke, Katie, Derek and Blake Porting; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Eva, Charlie Hinze, Elden and Nora Wessel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Veteran's Wall, VFW and American Legion .
