With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Adelgund Rose Rettele Osterhaus Winterscheidt of Seneca, Kansas, who passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Rettele and Elizabeth Rettele (Hulsing); her former husband Elmer Winterscheidt; her husband Earl Stoffer; her son Steven; and her siblings, Ignatius, Matt, Wilfred, Anthony, William, Irmena Wietharn, Edith Bjelland, Marcella Rethman-Matthewson, Aurelia Heinen and Dorothy Kohake-Feichtinger.
She is survived by: her children, Terrence, Alan (Linda), Leon (Cathy), Terry (Cheryl), Glenn (Linda), Janelle Clark (John), Beth Buckland (Donald 'Buck), Kim (Nina) and Gary (Lorene); her sister Betty Altenhofen; and her brother-in-law Bud Feichtinger. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Nemaha Valley Community Hospital or Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, Seneca, Kansas.
