It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Dean Thummel of Selden, Kansas, born in Hoxie, Kansas, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Thummel and Eleanor Thummel (Korte) of Selden, Kansas.; his wife Theresa Flory; his daughter Dedra Thummel (Newman); his brothers, Tom (Pat) of Nashville, IN and Steve (Glenda) of Salina, KS.; his sister-in-law Shirley Thummel of Great Bend, KS.; and his caregiver Esther Chavez of Altus, OK.. He was also cherished by four grandchildren, one great grandchild, friend.
In lieu of any flowers the family ask that a donation be made to the Christian.
