He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony B Dorenkamp and Anna A Dorenkamp (Hanzlicek); and his brothers-in-law, Dick Kathka, William Vahling and David Gallagher.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Vahling of Selden; his children, Loretta Smith (Corey) of Weskan and Anthony Dorenkamp (Michelle) of Hoxie; his grandchildren, Brooke Haverkamp (Nick) of Manhattan, Ashlyn Dorenkamp of Hays, Joseph and Blake Dorenkamp of Hoxie; and his sister Ann Kathka of Humansville, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
