He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley and Mary Frances Witte Duncan; and his brother Ralph Paul Duncan. He is survived by: his aunt Esther Witte; his sister-in-law Chariss Duncan; and his nieces, Michelle Moreland (Thomas), Laura Early (John), Kimberly Wang (Weibi), Emily Foster and Kristin Schmidt (David).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Aid Fund.
