She was predeceased by: her parents, Meliton Chavez and Josefa Bonilla Chavez; and her brother John Chavez. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Manuela Chavez of Sedgwick; and her nieces and nephews, Antonio Chavez (Kathy) of Sedgwick, Daniel Chavez of Pueblo, Colo, Victoria Davis (Don) of Sedgwick, Angela Panek (Steve) of Garden Plain and Elisa Wagoner (Jim) of Shawnee.
A memorial has been established with Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Halstead and the Sedgwick Senior Center, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
