It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Kennedy of Sedgwick, Kansas, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Elizabeth (Norris) and Raymon Theodore Wilson; her husband Glenn Eldon Kennedy; her daughter Vicki Sue Kennedy; and her siblings, Raymon Eugene Wilson and Thelma Daniels.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Pittinger (John) of Sedgwick, Patricia Unruh (Robert) of Sedgwick, Annette Cook (Bill) of Sedgwick and Glenda Krehbiel (Greg) of Moundridge, Kansas; her sister Betty Bookwalter of Santa Fe; and her grandchildren, Christina Sporleder (Shannon) of McPherson, Matthew Unruh (Brooke) of Lawrence, William Hill (Sarah) of Sedgwick, Timothy Bales (Rebecca Rausch) of McPherson, Kansas, Randi Johnson (Chad) of Ankeny, Iowa and Shawn Pittinger of Anderson, S. C.. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Sedgwick Senior Center and the First Christian Church of Sedgwick.
