She was predeceased by: her parents, Cabell Warren Spears and Martha Ann Spears (Belcher); her spouse Elrey Joy; and her siblings, Ann, Arlene, Warren, John and Ronnie.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Browning of Jacksonville, Mike Ellis (Kerri) of Fort Lauderdale, Kenny Ellis (Priscilla) of Sedan and Travis Hart (Lacy) of Sedan, Kansas; and her brother Frank Spears of West Virginia. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Assembly of God Church.
