Calvin Gene Carter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Gene Carter of Sedan, Kansas, who passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Calvin Gene Carter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his former wives, Kellie McClurg and Kelly Carter; and his fathers-in-law, Elmo McClurg and Gary Jellison. He is survived by: his father Orville Lee "Chunk" Carter; his wife Brenda Carter; his children, Lance Carter (April) of Rural Sedan, Chad Carter (Lindsey) of Chautauqua, Bruce Davis (Martha) of Sedan, Matt Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Sunny Draper (Jimmie) of Sedan, Kansas; his mother Patsy "Pat" Carter (Corle) of Peru, Kansas; his mothers-in-law, Connie McClurg of Rural Sedan and Betty Jellison of Sedan, Kansas; his grandchildren, Madison, Oakley, Ava, Payton, Paisley, Ivorie Carter, Savanna Faubion, Sahara Jones, Malary Montie, Emma, Arabella Davis, Brennan, Gunnar and Annalise Draper; and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Emmie and Aiden. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to the Chautauqua County 4-H Council or the Sedan High School FFA and those may be left in care of the Dickens Family Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361.
