She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bert Bounous and Mary Bounous (Balmas); her spouse Claude Kyle Swartz; and her daughter Mary Viola Sump. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Kay Hawkins of Sedan, Kansas and Claude Kyle Swartz Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
