It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Ross of Sedan, Kansas, born in Bowring, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph "Bill" Blount and Etta L. Blount (Powell); her husband George Lewis Ross Jr.; and her sister-in-law Dixie Blount. She is survived by: her sons, George Lewis Ross III (Diana) of Nowata and William Alvin Ross (Sharon) of Sedan, Kansas; and her siblings, John Blount Sr. of Peru, Kansas, Joan Ropp (Carl) of Dewey and Beverly Postrach (Terry) of Nowata, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
