It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Ann Vawter of Scranton, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Wilson and Margaret Wilson (Kelch); her sisters, Dorothy Rucker and Lois Wagner; her daughter Cynthia Leigh Harris; her granddaughter Cythia Marie Harris; and her great grandchild Kapri Lane Bradley.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Vawter; her sons, James "Jim" Harris of Carbondale, KS, Paul Harris and Shaun Harris of Berryton, KS; and her stepdaughter Loree Brooks of Burlingame, KS. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
