He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Francis and Kathleen Justice Samms; his wife Tammy Samms of Scott City; his sons, Nathan Samms of Scott City, Peyton Samms of Scott City, B. J. Corter of Hoisington, Norman Brown of Minnesota and Tyler Brown of Scott City; and his siblings, Jack Samms of Phoenix and Karla Clark of Prescott. He was also cherished by Ten Grandchildren, and One Great Grandchild.
