He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ekhoff and Berniece Becker Ekhoff; his wife Nora Taber; and his siblings, Nels Ekhoff, Niles Ekhoff and Ione Hughan.
He is survived by: his sons, Dewayne (Danielle Ekhoff) and Adam Ekhoff of Garden City; and his siblings, Neil (Gwen Ekhoff) and Dawn (Daniel Davis). He is also survived by Seven Grandchildren, and Nine Great Grandchildren.
