It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mona J. Heitschmidt of Scott City, Kansas, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Steffens and Ruth Frank Steffens Jr. A. She is survived by: her children, Alesha Heitschmidt of Manhattan, Chelsea Moses-Heitschmidt of Manhattan and Josh Heitschmidt of Miller; her siblings, Becky Bryant of Broken Arrow, Sherry Hickey of Scott City and Johnny Steffens of Mulberry; and her grandchildren, Morgen Roberts of Scott City, Raigen Wilson of Manhattan, Carley Heitschmidt of Miller, Lakyn Heitschmidt of Miller, Nova Heitschmidt of Miller and Kyilen Heitschmidt of Miller. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
