He is survived by: his parent Jackie Dusenbery Drake; his wife Michelle Nix of Scott City; his children, Aspyn Nix of Scott City and Jeffrey Nix of Scott City; and his siblings, Melissa English of Mitchell, Tracy Gonzales of Haysville, Tanya Willis of Gillette, Stacy Koester of Gillette, Dawn Schott of Aurora, Nicholas Luiken of Douglass, Rickie Drake of Arkansas City, Big, Mentors, Bill, Leah Fairchild of Mulvane, Jim and Shabana Fairchild of Wichita.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Jeffrey Nix Memorial Fund for his children's education fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.
