We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2023, at the age of 81, James Richard Smith of Scott City, Kansas, born in Garden City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard and Edythe Coons Smith; his stepfather Donald McMillan; and his daughter Vicky Gray. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Barker; his children, Tish (Bryan Burnett) and Tony (Dominique Gray); his sister Kathy (Duane Koster); and his grandchildren, Devyn Jones of Buhler, Brynna Burnett of Scott City, Isabella Gray of Orange, Caleb Gray of Orange and Milena Gray of Orange.
