It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva M. (Torrez) Wright of Scott City, Kansas, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Epimenio Torrez and Susana Torrez (Garcia); her children, Lester Lauber and Geneva Lauber; and her niece Anisa S. Torrez.
She is survived by: her pet Charlie; her husband Gary Wright; her sons, Travis Lauber (Cruz) of Garden City and Sean Torrez (Nerida) of Dodge City; her stepchildren, Samantha Sharp (Zach) of Scott City, Adam Wright of Palm Springs, California and Preston Wright of Scott City; her granddaughters, Erica and Carla; her great grandchildren, Iridessa, Jahmari and Dezmend; and her siblings, Manuel Torrez (Corrine) of Jetmore, Rita S. Esparza (Rogelio) and Corina J. Torrez-Castillo of Dodge City. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
