He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Mae Stevens; his wife Pat Hillery of Scott City; his children, Harley Hillery of Lakin, Lee (Michelle Hillery), Garee (Clifton Geist-Smith) and Joy (Jay Haverfield); his sisters, Mary Wright of Russell Springs, Laura Sporer of Oakley, Helen Lunsford of Oakley and Bernice Mahoney of Liberal; and his grandchildren, Dawn Oberheim of Garden City, Jill, L. Jay Geist of Eldorado, Richard Fisher of Las Vegas, Douglas Fisher of Topeka, Max Haverfield of Kansas City, Heath Haverfield of Lawrence, Katie Hillery of Hays, Austin Hillery of Winona and Clare Hillery of Winona, Kansas..
