She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hank and Nellie Belle Jackson Zeigler; her husband James W. "Jim" McDaniel; her siblings, Bill Zeigler and Adeline Harper; and her granddaughter Heather Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, Rob (Lee Ann McDaniel) and Lonnie (Bill Lewis); her grandchildren, Ryan (Katie Lewis) and Adalin McDaniel of Lexington; and her great grandchildren, Aisley Lewis and Grayson Lewis of Kansas City, Missouri..
