It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Thompson of Schoenchen, Kansas, born in Bristow, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Thompson and Faye Thompson (Blackmore); his sister Della Beller; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Beller, Art Dobbeke and Ron Munsch.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Herrman (Munsch); his children, Jeff Thompson (Robin Johnson), Wayne Thompson (Cheryl) of Strafford, MO, Bruce Thompson (Charlet) of Springfield, MO, Sheila Tollen (Joe) of Nixa, MO, Randy Thompson of Chicago, IL, Pam Moore of Nixa, MO and Lori Springer (Jereme) of Springfield, MO; his stepchildren, Curt Herrman (Gayla Clark) of Schoenchen, KS, Kim Deaver (Gerald) of Colwich, KS and Troy Herrman (Barb) of Hutchinson, KS; his siblings, Larry Thompson (Carolyn) of Chauetau, OK, Freida Dobbeke of Wichita, KS and Loretta Ross (Leon) of Plainville, KS; his siblings-in-law, Bob Munsch (Karen) of Schoenchen, KS and Jeannie Munsch (Bob Jarmer) of Great Bend, KS; his grandchildren, Trevor Thompson (Kaci), Zachary Thompson, Kylie Thompson, Nathan Thompson (Grace), Natalie Thompson, Krystal Tollen, Dustin Tollen (Kyra), Austin Tollen, Shantel Thompson, Myron Thompson, Shala Thompson, Tyree Moore, Kaihprec Moore, Deontae Moore, Travis Springer, Olivia Springer and Kayla Springer; and his stepgrandchildren, Gerad Deaver (Alissa), Kelton Deaver (Victoria Allen), Kirstin Benedict and Brandon Herrman. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice, Shriners Hospitals or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
