He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Simmons and Ethel Simmons (Lauritzen); his son-in-law Russell Hall; his grandson Christopher G. Simmons; and his siblings, Maxine Simms, Donald Simmons and Robert Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn N. Loring; his children, Kevin Simmons (Debra) of Scandia, KS, Teresa Dillman (John) of Liberty, MO, Lori Jones (Larry) of Independence, MO and Lisa Hall of Scandia, KS; and his sister-in-law Darlene Simmons of Belleville, KS. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
