He is survived by: his wife Lola Olsen of Scandia, KS; his children, Lana Thayer (Randy) of Republic, KS, Stacey Runft (Bruce) of Scandia, KS and Ryan Olsen (Humphrey Sui) of Shenyang, China; his grandchildren, Amanda Jensen (Jeremy Fredrickson), Tyler Jensen (Samantha), Jeremy Thayer, Jordan Thayer (Monica), Britt Wright (Michael), Cody Runft (Lindsay), Jaid Runft, Payton Runft and Mason Runft; and his siblings, Hans Olsen (Judy) of Scandia, KS, Carol Brant (Bob) of Superior, NE and Sonja Keeling of Superior, NE. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
