Hanson of Scandia, Kansas, born in Leland, Iowa, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Hanson (Gavin) and Orville Hanson; his stepfather Eugene Finamore; and his son Randy Hanson. He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Cornett of Belleville, KS; his daughters, Karen (Kevin), Kristy (Mike) and Sandbo; and his grandchildren, Clinton Hanson, Justin Crabtree (Jessica), Kylee Weninger (Geoff), Garrett Crabtree, Kailyn, Easton and Rilynn Sandbo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Scandia American Legion Post 193 or the Newton American Legion Post 2, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
