He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Robert and Mabel Emily Hammer (Barleen); and his brothers, Loren and Maurice Hammer. He is survived by: his wife Sue Hammer of Concordia; his daughter Amy Steeples (Flint) of Spring; his grandchildren, Holly and Nolan Steeples; his siblings, Gary Hammer (Linda), Don Hammer (Annette) and Virginia Hawley (Ron); and his sisters-in-law, Linda Hammer and Loretta Hammer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
