With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Racette of Salina, Kansas, born in Clyde, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Edwin and Viola Emily Resco (Donnelly); her husband Romanus "Bob" Racette; her siblings, Freda Smith, Max Resco, Juanita Huncovsky and Donald Resco; and her son-in-law Kiah Kolb.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Racette (Trudy) of Lucas, TX, Kathy Kolb of Salina, KS, Kevin Racette (Barbara) of Loveland, CO and Lori Prescott of Salina, KS; her grandchildren, Ann Collins of Ellsworth, KS, Amy Hallman (Rich) of Blue Springs, MO, Brian Racette (Jenny), Julie Rembold (Dan) of Lucas, TX, Scott Racette of Loveland, CO, Shane Carr of Dillon, CO and Shanna Dooley (Jon) of Hays, KS; and her sisters-in-law, Darlene Weatherhead and Virginia Racette. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
