He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Pierce and Lorraine Pierce; his brothers, Jerry and Allen; his parents-in-law, Harold Shockley and Eileen Shockley; his brothers-in-law, Devin, Gayle Shockley and Fred Siewert; his wife Kathy Painter; his children, Rebecca (Mike Hangge), Jeremy (Carrie), Chad (Dawn) and Jason (Amy); his grandchildren, Kelsey Payne (Caleb), Jessica Griffin (Matt), Brynlee Hangge, Gage Pierce, Carley Pierce, Makayla Pierce, Saige Pierce, Aidan Pierce, Nathan Pierce, Jonathan Pierce and Ethan Pierce; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Rylend, Ryne, Ryver Payne, Addie, Levi and Cayden Griffin; his sister Joyce Siewert; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Pierce, Cristy and Kathy Shockley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (111 W Magnolia Rd, Salina, KS 67401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Christ the King Lutheran Church in Salina, Kansas, Wild Ride Ministries in Harper, Texas, or the USS Lexington Mission in Corpus Christi, Texas.
