He is survived by: his spouse Jean Manning; his children, Barbara Rains (Darrell) of Garden City and Mindy Duran (David); his stepson Doug Dutton (Rebecca) of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Andrew Shields, Simon Shields, Karisa White, Aubrey Spencer, Caine Duran and Blaine Duran; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn White, Oliver Spencer, Ava Spencer, Julian Duran and Bentley Novack; and his siblings, Russell Shields (Helen), Max Shields, Kenneth Shields (Kathy) of Sikeston, MO, Dorothy Podschun of Wellington and Rose Marie Smith.
