“He was very welcoming and kind from the very first moment we met in 1997. We got along so well, and had lots of fun! He loved sports, movies, travelling and Rennie and Annie, our dogs. He enjoyed taking them for a walk. He was a great tennis player and he taught me skiing. He loved his family dearly, spent a lot of time with them. We made so many nice memories together that I will be forever thankful for. I will never forget you, may you rest in peace!”

Micaela Davis wrote a sympathy message

“Jayme was always warm and welcoming to me as an exchange student who lived a couple of doors down. I have fond memories of getting dropped off to school along with their exchange student with the dogs in the back. Whenever I visited Jayme and Brenda’s house, I felt warm, welcome and part of a community. I’m sad to hear of his passing and send my thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones.”

“Dad was an avid athlete. He was a very good tennis player and a great 3-point shooter. He taught me to play tennis and we traveled to Colorado for ski trips. He was a font of knowledge when it came to sports. He also loved watching movies when he was not on the road. He visited his parents often and had good times with them. I will always remember him for his sense of humor and the fun we had together. Thank you dad for all you have done for me. May you rest in peace.”
