With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Rufener of Salina, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on September 27, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parent Cecil (Harriet Rufener); his former wife Wilma Iseli; his son Brian; his wife Grace; his children, Austin, Samantha (Matthew), Tyler (McKenzie), Hayden, Jay and Michael Huth (Katherine) of Pearland, TX; his grandchildren, Sophia and Lauren; his siblings, Wayne Rufener (Judy) and Pamela Sheets (Jeffery); his brother-in-law Ed Brownell; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Lucas, Eva and Londyn; his nieces and nephews, Zac Sheets (Chanelle), Shantel Sheets, Kaleb and Lindsey Greenemeyer; his parents, Cecil and Harriet; and his sister Joyce.
