With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Raymond Poague (Salina, Kansas), who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Poague and Hilma Poague; his siblings, Eldon, Bill, Lois, Pat, Becky, Maggie and Mary; his daughter Jeanie Best; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Breanna and Jesus.
He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Hill; his children, Danny Raymond Poague, Jean Michelle Jacobs (Rick), Linda Rea Crook (Shelby) and Tammy Trepoy (Fat Jimmy); his brother John Poague of Salina; and his grandchildren, Danielle Flanagan, Jordan Poague, Taylor Poague, Penny, Jackie and Meredith Best. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
