Gary Evan Cassel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Evan Cassel (Salina, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Evan Cassel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cassel and Una Cassel. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Cassel; his daughters, Rochelle Wentz (Mike) and Lisa Naylor (Roger); his grandchildren, Aubrey Wiechman, Amanda Branfort, Kylee Kolzow, Sam Reals, Hope Witt and Ben Wentz; his sister Ruth Cassel; and his parents-in-law, William and Esther Becker. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ryan Mortuary (137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salina First United Methodist Church (122 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to Crossroads Marathon, a local organization that beautifully reflects Gary's passion for running and his dedication to supporting children or to the Salina First United Methodist Church.
