It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ervin Allen Ray of Salina, Kansas, born in La Cygne, Kansas, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William A. Ray and Faye C. Ray (Sanders); his brother Kenneth Ray; his wife Margaret A. Ray (Hair); his children, Janice C. Martinez (Alvaro) of Pasadena, TX, Steven A. Ray (Elizabeth) of Jacksonville and Stuart W. Ray (Joan) of Salina; his siblings, Dale Ray of Linn Valley, KS. and Virgil Ray of Centerville, KS; and his grandchildren, Lauran, Jessica, Leslie, Alvaro "Ito", Sarah and Brent.

“Ervin was a wonderful brother-in-law to me and an adored "big brother" to my late husband Kenneth Ray. We shared some special memories with Margaret and Ervin as we independently took two big trips with them first to Mexico and then to Australia. I will cherish those memories of these wonderful people. They so kindly opened their home for our family as we'd come for visits to Kansas from California every 1-2 years. Ervin always had some interesting projects to show.”
