It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Oscar Laitinen (Salina, Kansas), who passed away on January 2, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar and Marguerite; his former wife Vera; and his sister Carolyn Calcagni (Joseph). He is survived by: his wife Viola Laitinen; his sister Jean Neff (Henry) of Roxbury, CT; and his children, Wayne Laitinen (Carol) of New Ulm, MN, Linda DeNichilo (Nick) of Scotch Plains, NJ, Joan Kehl (Dave) of Hong Kong and Wendy Bailey (Ken) of Barre, VT. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
