With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delmar Dean Sherbert of Salina, Kansas, born in Clay Center, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024 at the age of 90. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Delmar leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Delmar may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sherbert and Bertha Sherbert (Haden); his wife Cynthia Sherbert (Mildfeldt); and his brother Paul Sherbert. He is survived by: his children, Gary Sherbert (Cheryl) of Gypsum, KS and Judy Carleton (Loren) of Marion, KS; and his siblings, Marvin Sherbert (Jane) of Clay Center, KS, Kenny Sherbert (Nancy) of Topeka, KS and Retha Burnett of Hallsville, MO. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
