He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Ryan Schmidt (Erica) of Bakersfield and Cameron Schmidt of Oklahoma City; his father Glenn Schmidt of Houston; his granddaughter Henslie Schmidt; and his brothers, David Schmidt of Mishawaka Ind, Dan Schmidt of Indio, Dominic Schmidt of Grand Junction, Doug Schmidt of Palmdale and Darren Schmidt of Bakersfield Calif.
