He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Anthony Gouvion and Agnes Josephine Gouvion (McKinney); his son Louis Eugene Gouvion; and his brothers, Donald Gouvion and Charles Gouvion.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Gouvion; his children, Wayne A. Gouvion of Newton, Ron J. (Sandra J.), Mark A. (Tammey S.), David C. (Kristina A.), James E. (Brenda J.) and Jill Shaddy-Gouvion of Mission; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Gouvion and Mary Jane Gouvion. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Donations may go toward Masses for Ralph or his family, to the University of Kansas Cancer Center, or Prairie Mission Retirement Village.
