He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McAtee and Addie McAtee (Balfay); his wife Phyllis McAtee; his son Norman McAtee; and his sisters, Patricia Kirby, Francie McAtee and Margaret McAtee.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Debra McAtee of Albuquerque; his children, Toni Martinez (Rick) of Parsons, Kansas. and Dwayne McAtee (Linda) of Wayne; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jessica, Kristin, Molly, Amy, Trey and Emma; and his siblings, Ed, Richard, Dennis, Randy, Jeanne Theis, Betty Bettega, Kathy Cichon, Nan Bortnick, Donna Renn and Paula Duling. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
