He is survived by: his parents, Donald Burrous and Marilyn Burrous; his wife Debra Bertels Burrous; his children, Rebecca NeSmith (Brandon) and Tony Burrous (Kathryne); his grandchildren, Pierce and Myers NeSmith; his children, Olivia, Emily and Sawyer Burrous; and his brothers, Rick Burrous (Naomi) and Rex Burrous (Lesa).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made through the funeral home or to the Organization for Artificial Reefs (OAR).
