He was predeceased by: his father Larry Brunner. He is survived by: his mother Katherine Cox of Manhattan; his brother Tim Brunner of Wamego; his girlfriend Lissa Vanduesen of Saint Mary's; his nieces and nephews, Cheyanne Brunner, Zachery Brunner, Michaela and Ben; and also Jolene Nocktonick.

Due to the current pandemic, no services are scheduled at this time; however, the family will host a celebration luncheon in honor of Robert at a later date.
