With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Alphons Schmitt (Saint Marys, Kansas), born in Springfield, Minnesota, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alphons George and Nell Marie Schmitt; his daughter Mary Treanor (Rich); his wife Nancy; his sister Carolyn Matson; and his children, Sally Trotter (Scott), Sue Pellegrino (Don), Jim (Liz), John, Tom, Dan (Jenny) and Don (Lea). He was also cherished by his 22 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In leiu of flowers donation may be made to St. Marys Academy and sent in care of the funeral home.
