He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Henry and Thelma Maxine Dickinson (Tucker); his wife Barbara Lee Axtell; his son-in-law Steve DeVries; and his brothers, James Leonard Dickinson, Thomas "Tom" Dickinson and Larry Dickinson.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Lee Dickinson (Deborah) of Wamego, Gerry Leon Dickinson (Angela) of Wamego and Janey Marie DeVries of Nixa, MO; his grandchildren, Claire Mundell of Williams, OR, Matthew Mundell of Lawrence, KS, Nathan Dickinson of Wamego, Kasey Coon (Tim) of Wamego, Amelia Delay of Wamego and Hollis Berry of Kansas City, MO; his great grandchildren, Aiden Delay of Wamego, Addilyn Delay of Wamego and Naomi Coon of Wamego; and his brother Louie Dickinson (Dottie) of Davenport, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
