She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul A. Richards and Beulah G. Crane Richards; her sister Paula Middelton; and her son Gary Smith. She is survived by: her husband James W. Smith; her son Michael Smith (Sherry); her daughter-in-law Donna Smith; and her siblings, J. A. Richards of Des Moines, IA and Winnie Ellis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Marys United Methodist Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
