She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth J. Velde; and her pet Zina Willow. She is survived by: her mother Vicki A. Myers Vande Velde; her husband Roger Gowen; her sons, Kyle Gowen of Binghamton, NY and Nicholas Gowen (Andrea); her siblings, Amy Lett (Michael) and Michael Vande Velde (Tina); her grandchildren, Alexandra and Jason; her nieces and nephews, Jacob, Tristan, Kendrick, Emma, Sarah and Marlee; and her pet Axel Roar.
