He is survived by: his wife Iona Graf; his children, Chris (Bill), Paul Baumchen (LuAnn), John Baumchen (Angela Safranek), Anne Fitzgerald (Larry), Mary Baumchen, Joe Baumchen (Marianne) and George Baumchen (Libby); his grandchildren, Colin Baumchen, Denver, Hallie Hughes (James), Cameron Baumchen (Kayon), Luke Fitzgerald, Megan Glass (Brandon), Molly Townsend (Tyrone), Deven Baumchen, Kevin Baumchen, William Baumchen, Jesse Baumchen, Zane Baumchen and Elyza Baumchen; his great grandchildren, Conner, Wyatt, Beckett Hughes, Ella, Grace Baumchen, Denver, Vander Baumchen, Harrison and Sophie Townsend; and his siblings, Joe Baumchen Onaga (Roberta) and Wilma Jo Johnson.
