Laura Lou Rodarmel Obituary

As Laura Lou departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Laura Lou may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Laura Lou leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Melvin and Zelpha Iona Kendall (Smith); her spouse Ira Lee Rodarmel; and her sister Florene Batchman. She is survived by: her children, Melvin Rodarmel (Rebecca) of League City, TX, Alvin Rodarmel (Sarah Woolf), Melinda Davis (Gailen) and Sandra Tucker (Steve); and her sister Barbara Phillips of Hutchinson, KS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minnis Chapel, Inc.- St. John (526 E 4th Ave, St John, KS 67576). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Community Church (207 Highland Ave, Hudson, KS 67545).

Memorials may be given to the Hudson Senior Center or the Sunflower Senior Center in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS 67576.
