She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Giebler and Elizabeth Giebler (Karlin); her husband Norman Elmer Wood; her children, Kenneth B., Glen C. Wood and Kathleen A. Wood; her siblings, Francis Giebler and Charlotte Giebler; her daughter-in-law Sheila Wood; her granddaughter Jordan Lindsey Wood; and her great grandchild Evelyn C. Elder.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell N. Wood (Natalie) of Trousdale, KS and Karen L. Vosburgh (Justin) of Macksville, KS; her daughters-in-law, Melinda Wood and Cindy Wood; and her brother Robert Giebler of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, and 47 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Minnis Chapel (526 E 4th Ave, St John, KS 67576). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church (203 Hudson Ave, Belpre, KS 67519). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
