It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Winnie Manteuffel in Saint Francis, Kansas, born in Erin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. J. C. Daniel and Alean Daniel (Warfield); her husband Walter J. Manteuffel; her son Deloy Manteuffel; and her brother Bill Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" (Martha) of Royse City, TX, Craig (Paula) of Topeka and Pam Deghand of Prairie Village, KS; her grandchildren, Jessica Quinlan (Chad), Laura Johnson (Brandon), Michael Manteuffel (Kayla), Matt Manteuffel, Alexa Sanders (Chuck) and Bradley Deghand (Kara); and her siblings, Landon Daniel of Keizer, OR and Dora Daniel of Manhattan, KS.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the St. Joseph's Indian School, P.O. Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326.
