She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Wismer and Laura Wismer; her husband Peter Hilty; and her siblings, Jean Friesen, Eleanor Kaufman, Earl Wismer and Don Wismer.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Peter (Kristen); her grandchildren, Elijah and Magdalena (Maggie); her sister-in-law Sue Hoadley (Wismer); and her nieces and nephews, Dennis, Ken Friesen (Lynn), Karen Stobbe (Al), Becky Unger (Dan), Chris Wismer (Scott Swearingen), Cathy Wismer (Mark Epp), Sue Wismer, Galen Kaufman (Rachel), Kendra Kaufman and Nathan Kaufman (Jill). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
